Paulo Lameiro is a musicologist specialized in Ethnomusicology by Universidade NOVA de Lisboa (University NOVA of Lisbon).
He completed a BA in Singing by the Conservatório Nacional de Lisboa (National Conservatory of Lisbon), school of which he would become Vice-President.
Nowadays he is the Artistic Director of SAMP, Sociedade Artística Musical dos Pousos (Artistic and Musical Society of Pousos), where he coordinates a broad set of artistic programs in the scope of Health and social integration. Some of these programs are speciality significant, such as "Ópera na Prisão" with inmates, "Il Trovatore" with gypsies, "Allegro Pediátrico" at the Hospital, "DoiMenor" with people who suffer with chronic pain, "ConSentir o som" for people with mental illness, or "Aqui contigo" for people in terminal state.
He is the founder and Artistic Director of Musicalmente with who he performs Concertos para Bebés a bit all over Europe and Brasil, and he breeds Koi Carps as an hobby.

Pianist graduated from the Budapest Academy of Music „Liszt Ferenc” at the class of Ernő Szegedi. Her professors were also Loránt Szűcs (chambermusic) and János Sebestyén (cembalo). After this she attended master classes of Livia Rèv (Paris), Teofil Bikiş (Luxembourg), François Glorieux (Antwerp), František Rauch (Prague), Tamás Vásáry, Malcolm Bilsonand Pál Kadosa (Budapest). She received several prizes on piano-competitions; in Casale Monferrato (Italy) she got a first and an extra prize on the competition „Carlo Soliva”. She gave concerts all across Europe and in the USA as soloist, accompanist or chamber-musician. She played concertos with orchestra by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt and Rachmaninoff; her recordings were broadcast on the radio and TV. She played world-premières and was awarded twice (1986 and 2010) the „Artisjus-prize” for performance of Hungarian contemporary music. She published papers and a book context of her pedagogical and artistic activity, most of them in Hungarian books and  periodicals.  She is head of the Music Education Department and the Art Institute of the Szeged University Faculty of Education “Juhász Gyula”. Between 1979 and 2001 she taught at the Music-Conservatory of Szeged as well. From 2008 she is a guest-professor at the University Babeş-Bolyai in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) also. She is the holder of the DLA – academic degree in Performing Art (Doctor of the Liberal Arts).

Born in Montevideo in 1959,

He learnt with and from the great masters of guitar, improved thanks to the music he saw others play and the one he played by ear, and currently keeps perfecting himself learning from his students.

He has received awards at the contests of Toronto, Benicassim, Madrid, Almuñécar, Palma de Mallorca, Pars, Alcoy y La Havana.

Ha has recorded for EPSA (Argentina) RTVE (Spain) and Aus_art (Euskadi).

Co-authorof the first edition in Spanish of Fernando Sor’s Guitar Method.

 

Acting guitar teacher at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Navarra, he holds a teaching position at the Conservatorio “Francisco Escudero” in San Sebastián, chairs the Bask Country Guitar Association ‘AIREAN’, and is the artistic director of the ZarautzGuitar Festival.

 

He keeps trying to understand the different guitar accents and languages through the circular path that encompasses contemporary, folkloric, and classic music as well as other forms of expression.

Liszt e Venezia sono due costanti di questo pianista italiano nato nel 1967, che iniziò i suoi studi musicali all´età di sei anni, fece il suo debutto con undici nella città dei canali e si formò in qualità di discepolo della scuola di Liszt, geniale compositore ed interprete che compose a Venezia, a cento metri dalla casa natale di Ambrosini, molti dei suoi brani.

Ambrosini studiò pianoforte, organo, violino e composizione con M. I. Biagi (scuola italiana di Liszt), R. Cappello e U. Amendola. Al finire i suoi studi in Italia con il massimo dei voti e cum laude, continuò il perfezionamento con G. Oppitz a Monaco di Baviera (ramo germanica di Liszt), M. de Silva-Telles a Parigi e J. Soriano a Madrid, città dove gli fu assegnato il Premio de Honor de Final de Carrera del Real Conservatorio. È dottore in Filosofia Morale (Etica e Politica) persso la Universitat Jaume I de Castellón dove ha ricevuto per la sua tesi dottorale “Ética y Humanismo en Franz Liszt: la oculta dimensión masónica” il massimo dei voti e la lode.

Dal suo debutto con orchestra nella Liederhalle (Beethovensaal) di Stoccarda nel 1986, ha offerto numerosi concerti come solista in Europa, Stati Uniti e Giappone, assieme a formazioni come la Orchestra Reale del Concertgebouw di Amsterdam, la Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, la Orquesta Filarmonica de Belgrado, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, New Philharmonia of Japan ed Orchestra Statale del Ermitage di San Pietroburgo, suonando accompagnato da direttori come M. Bamert, H. Vonk e A. Ros-Marbá.

 

Iniziato alla musica da camera dal suo maestro Claudio Ronco, forma duo dal 1990 con il violinista russo M. Lubotsky e dal 2000 con il violinista russo I. Grubert, collaborando assiduamente con i quartetti Prazak e Brodsky e con il pianista olandese David Kuyken.

 

Ha inciso CD per le etichette discografiche Symphonia, Almaviva, ETG, Several e Dynamic, ed ha realizzato registrazioni per importanti reti radiotelevisive europee e per la NHK giapponese. In risalto la sua speciale collaborazione con Radio Clásica (Radio Nacional de España) frutto della quale sono, fino ad ora, più di 380 brani registrati. Dal 2016 ha iniziato la collaborazione con la casa discografica PlayClassics.

 

Autori come H. Vartan, V. Suslin, R. Flender, F. Llàcer-Pla, T. Catalán, C. Cruz de Castro, Z. de la Cruz, T. Marco, J. Jacinto, J. Medina, J. M. Sáchez-Verdú, A.Soriano, C. Maresca, A. Meoli y G. F. Prato gli hanno dedicato loro composizioni. Ambrosini ha presentato in prima in Spagna composizioni di diferenti autori tra i quali A. Pärt, N. Roslawietz, S. Gubaidulina, S. Slonimsky, A. Bax, B. Britten e F. Delius. Particolare attenzione ha ricevuto lo studio delle opere del compositore russo Alfred Schnittke, di cui ha interpretato brani in Europa, Russia e Giappone, ed ha impartito Masterclass per la London University e la Russische Musik Akademie di Dortmund sulla interpretazione della sua musica. Membro di onore della Deutsche Alfred Schnittke Gesellschaft e dal 2011 professore della Alfred Schnittke Akademie International di Amburgo.

 

Professore in diversi corsi di prefezionamento in Spagna, Italia, Germania, Austria, Olanda, Regno Unito e Polonia, professore di pianoforte principale presso il Conservatorio Superior di Castellón, è ora professore presso il Conservatorio Superiore di Salamanca. È stato professore invitato del Goldsmith Institute (London University) ed è professore di interpretazione pianistica (Master) della VIU – Universidad Internacional de Valencia. Professore della Schnittke Akademie di Amburgo. Membro della Giuria di importanti concorsi internazionali pianistici e membro del consiglio della Franz Liszt Foundation (France).

 

Nel 2011, in occasione dell´anno Liszt, ha offerto Recitals ed ha suonato con orchestre in Germania, Francia, Olanda, Italia, Polonia e Spagna. Nel 2012 è uscito il suo ultimo CD con brani di F.Liszt, tra cui la Sonata in si minore.

 

È membro della Pegasus Gesellschaft, del Club Renacimiento di Madrid e Gran Knight Commander dell´Ordine “Knights of Thunderbolt”.

He began his musical studies at a youth music band. After, he continue his training at the Conservatory of Music of Malaga, ending his studies with the highest marks and final degree award.

In 1989 obtains a position in the Municipal Band of Malaga, which is occupied during four years as soloist, and in 1993 won by opposition contest a teaching trumpet position.

From now alternates his teaching with concert, offering courses and giving concerts all over the country and abroad. He is part of the Brass Quintet "Malaka" since his foundation, and member of the Symphony Orchestra of Malaga. It also collaborates with other orchestras as Philharmonic Orchestra of Malaga, Cadiz Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the Liceu Symphony Orchestra of Minsk and St. Petersburg ...

He has received numerous classes from very famous soloist and teachers, as Eric Aubier, Pierre Thibaud, Maurice Andre, Reinhold Fiedrich, Allen Vizzutti, Marco Pierobon… and has been directed by coductors like Lopez Cobos, Odon Alonso, Aldo Cecatto, Miguel A. Gomez, etc.

In his academic training, he holds a degree in Music and Scenics Arts, Grade of trumpet, Diploma in Computer Science and PhD at the Malaga University.

He also is a expert in the media music and videogames music. He is a member and contributor to the group "ArsGames" and specialized in different software development companies playful advisor. He is a member and participant of the Research Group on Advanced Audiovisual Contents (innovcom) of the Malaga University.

He is currently trumpet teacher at the Royal Conservatory of Music Victoria Eugenia, Granada, and alternating external teaching (teaching courses for conservatories, orchestras and music schools) with regular concert activity; as well as research at the University of Málaga, with holding conferences in different Spanish universities (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, University of Malaga), articles in various scientific magazines, and development of a system quality control on the soundtrack of interactive multimedia formats. Antonio González Portillo plays with Fides Instruments.

Il s'oriente alors vers une carrière pédagogique, Professeur d'Enseignement Artistique, il est actuellement professeur de trompette au CRR de Lille depuis 2003 et à l'Ecole Supéreure de Musique et de Danse Nord de France,

Parallèlement à ses activités pédagogiques, il a donné de nombreux concerts en France et à l'étranger, trompette et orgue, quintette de cuivres, ensembles de cuivres, orchestres d'harmonie, orchestre symphonique,

Susanna Mesiä works as a senior lecturer in Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland, where she teaches popular music and jazz vocals and pedagogy. She is also in charge of business product design and supervises theses. Mesiä is a doctoral candidate in Sibelius Academy of the University of Arts, Helsinki working on a PhD in pop/jazz vocal teaching in higher music education. In addition to teaching and researching Susanna Mesiä writes music and performs frequently at clubs and festivals.

He graduated from the Academy of Music in Krakow the piano class of professor Jerzy Łukowicz 
and  the chamber music class (the piano duo class of professor Janina Baster  and the interpretation of contemporary music class of professor Adam Kaczynski)
He was the finalist in the International Competition for Piano Duets. Valentino Bucchi in Rome. 
He received a scholarship of the President of Krakow for his artistic achievements . 
He has performed in most European countries, he participated in major music festivals such as The Warsaw Autumn, The Poznań Spring, The Contrasts in Lviv, The Vienna Modern and The Aspekte in Salzburg. He took part in a series of concerts promoting Polish culture such as The Polish Culture Days in Vienna, in Bavaria, in Minsk and in Luxembourg, The Malopolska Days in Thuringia and The Krakow Days in Vilnius. 
He has made a number of radio recordings, including those for the Polish Radio, the Austrian Radio and the Hungarian Radio.
He specializes in solo performances of contemporary music and in performing chamber music. In a piano duo he performs piano versions of symphonic music of the twentieth century. He made many first performances of music pieces of numerous Polish composers in Poland and abroad. He is a member of the Artistic Association called ‘The Music Centre’.
He teaches at the University of Rzeszów and at the Academy of Music in Krakow. He taught courses  of interpretation of contemporary music. He also taught at the InternationalAcademy for New Composition in Switzerland and at the International Workshops of Contemporary Music in  Krakow and Stuttgart.

 

Małgorzata Zarębińska
She graduated from the Academy of Music in Wrocław – the piano class of professor Włodzimierz Obidowicz. She also cooperated with the following: professor A. Wodnicki from the College of Music of the University of North Texas, professor Aleksiej Orłowiecki of the Conservatory of Petersburg , Madleine Meyer de Mory Hsu from Boise State University, Idaho USA, Viktor Teuflmayer, Wolfgang Watzinger, Erika Dichler–Sedlacek from Hochschule fűr Musik in Vienna as well as with R. Bakst,. H. Czerny–Stefańska, T. Szebanowa and Z. Śliwiński.
She was the prize winner of the International Competition in Vienna - an official award for the best rendering of  J. Haydn Sonatas. She received a special scholarship of Hochschule fűr Musik in Vienna.
She gives concerts in Poland and abroad including Austria, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Sweden, Hungary, CzechRepublic, Ukraine, Moldova, Gagauzia, Transnistria and The Republic of Moldova. She presents an exceptionally diversified repertoire from Baroque to contemporary music.
She teaches at the University of Rzeszów. Furthermore, she has been cooperating with different European universities, providing lessons, workshops and piano master classes. She collaborated with different partners in Europe, implementing many important educational projects.
Beyond her artistic and didactic activities she also graduated from Collegium Civitas and Adam Mickiewicz Institute in Warsaw in the field of Diplomacy of Culture.

Dr Bret Battey is a Senior Lecturer in Music, Technology and Innovation. He came from the United States to join the De Montfort team in 2004. Prior to coming to De Montfort University, he spent a year in India engaged in research as a Fulbright Fellow and two years as a Research Associate with the Center for Digital Arts and Experimental Media at the University of Washington, Seattle. He has degrees in electronic music and music composition from Oberlin Conservatory (BMus) and the University of Washington (MMus, DMA).

He creates electronic, acoustic, and multimedia concert works and installations, synthesizing a diverse professional and educational background in music composition, computer science, graphic and web design, and electronics. He pursues research in algorithmic music, digital signal processing, image and sound relationship, and expressive sound synthesis. His passions for Indian classical music, contemplative practice, and feedback systems, chaos, and complexity have had strong impact on his research and artistic work.

His sound and image compositions, which involve custom-programmed video and sound algorithms, have achieved widespread international recognition, including prizes and honours from the Abstracta Festival (Rome), Punto y Raya Festival (Madrid), Bourges Concours International de Musique Electroacoustique (France) and Prix Ars Electronica (Austria). He has published research in Computer Music Journal andOrganised Sound.

Dr Battey has supervised and examined postdoctoral research in the areas related to sound and image composition, Indian classical music, computer programming, interactive design, installations, and complex systems and feedback. He also welcomes research in other areas of composition, algorithmic techniques and synthesis design.

Ken Norris is currently a Professor for Vocal Jazz at the Hochschule für Musik & Theater in Hamburg (DE).
He earned his Bachelors degree in Architecture at Yale University (USA) in 1990, and continued his studies in Music at the American School of Modern Music in Paris (FR). Since then he has released two solo CDs and over 20 collaborative works ranging from contemporary opera to Bigband.
Norris is a sought-after soloist, heard at Jazz Baltica, at the Dubai Jazz Festival with Gabriel Coburger/Quintett Jean-Paul, the Crest Vocal Jazz Festival (FR), Les Printemps de Bourges Festival (FR), Les Nuits du Jazz de Nantes (FR), Jazz Ahead (DE), Jazz Festival Mongolia, and others.
Ken Norris is winner of the Golden Reel Award in New York (USA) and has collaborated on theater and music projects at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, the Hamburg School of Music (DE), the Hochschule für Musik & Theater Hamburg (DE), and the New Music Association, Paris (FR).
The range of his musical interests includes improvised vocal ensemble work, the vocalese, vocal arrangement for choir, libretto development for operatic works, poetry, text writing and analysis. Norris has developed pedagogical material for Jazz choir, Gospel choir, small vocal ensemble and soloists, and non-musicians.
Norris will be giving a Masterclass in October 2016 at the Eva Lind Musikakademie Tirol, for advanced Jazz singers and improvisors.

Ewa Iżykowska (Soprano, Mez­zoso­prano) belongs to the group of the most out­stand­ing Pol­ish singers.

She grad­u­ated from Fry­deryk Chopin Acad­emy of Music in War­saw where she stud­ied singing under Pro­fes­sor Kaz­imiera Goławska. She con­tin­ued her stud­ies at the Acad­e­mia Musi­cale Chi­giana in Siena under Geor­gio Favaretto and Ettore Capogagliani, Accad­e­mia di Santa Cecilia in Rome and Teatro alla Scala in Milan under Giuli­etta Simion­ato and Eduardo Mueller.

She is also summa cum laude grad­u­ate of Acad­emy of Drama in War­saw, Poland.

Ewa Iżykowska won sev­eral prizes at the inter­na­tional vocal com­pe­ti­tions, such as Belvedere Com­pe­ti­tion in Vienna, Aus­tria, Mozart Com­pe­ti­tion in Alessan­dria, Italy, Szy­manowski Com­pe­ti­tion in War­saw, Poland.

Ewa Iżykowska started her pro­fes­sional career at the Opera House in Poz­nań, Poland in 1981 where she cre­ated Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte, Vio­letta in La Travi­ata, Micaela in Car­men, Liu in Turan­dot and many others.

In 1986 Ewa Iżykowska made her debut at the Cham­ber Opera House in Vienna, Aus­tria, where she sang Nedda in I Pagli­acci directed by George Tabori and Count­ess in Le nozze di Figaro.

In 1987–1991 she was soloist at the Opera House in Lucerne, Switzer­land, where among oth­ers she sang Poppa in L’Incoronazione di Pop­pea, Count­ess in Le nozze di Figaro, Tatyana in Eugen One­gin, Vio­letta in La Travi­ata, Adri­ana in Adri­ana Lecou­vreur together with tenor Ramon Var­gas, and Mar­cello Viotti conducting.

Recently she also appeared in mul­ti­ple Euro­pean the­atres singing many char­ac­ters in Penderecki’s Die Schwarze Maske, The Devil from Loudaine, (both broad­casted inter­na­tion­ally) Par­adise Lost, Strauss’ Salome and Rosenkava­lier (Marschalin), Puccini’s Tosca, and Giordano’s Fedora.

Ewa Iżykowska is a dis­tin­guished ora­to­rio / can­tata singer. Her reper­toire includes the best known works start­ing from Baroque through Roman­tic ora­to­rios to con­tem­po­rary works like Mahler’s Sym­phony No. 7 or Górecki’s Sym­phony No. 3 and the whole Penderecki’s ora­to­rio repertoire.

Dur­ing her career she per­formed in the world’s most pres­ti­gious opera the­aters and con­cert halls like La Scala, Musikverein, Carnegie Hall, and she was tour­ing around Europe, Amer­i­cas, Philip­pines and Russia.

She has recorded with Pol­ish Radio & TV and Aus­tria TV ORF.

In 2000, she started her world-wide tour with two solo recitals: From Baroque to Jazz and Songs of Chopin and Paderewski.

Since 2000 she begun to share her expe­ri­ence with young stu­dents at Uni­ver­sity in Olsten, Poland, Pol­ish Acad­emy of Sci­ences in War­saw, and she become a v-cue direc­tor of Keimyung F. Chopin Acad­emy of Music in South Korea.

Since 2004, she is asked to par­tic­i­pate in many inter­na­tional opera work­shops, sem­i­nars, courses and fes­ti­vals, like, Schlern Music Fes­ti­val in Italy, Mas­ter Class at the Texas Chris­t­ian Uni­ver­sity, Mas­ter Class at the Catholic Uni­ver­sity in Daegu, S. Korea, From Chopin to Górecki Fes­ti­val at the F. Chopin Acad­emy of Music in Warsaw.

Apart from teach­ing she also works as a direc­tor. She pre­sented a per­for­mance of Song Books for Home Use by S. Moniuszko in 2010, and a per­for­mance enti­tled Musi­cale Musi­cale in 2011.

Ewa Iżykowska gives a lot of con­certs. Recently she has given a recital at the Accad­e­mia di Santa Cecilia in Rome. In 2010 she gave a recital of Songs by Chopin in Paris, and it was the first time ever that those pieces were recorded on a Blu-ray disc.

In 2011 she gave a per­for­mance in Vat­i­can on St. Peter’s Square dur­ing the beat­i­fi­ca­tion cer­e­mony of John Paul II.

She flu­ently speaks 5 lan­guages: Ital­ian, Russ­ian, Ger­man, Eng­lish and French. She holds DA degree and she is Pro­fes­sor at the Fry­deryk Chopin Uni­ver­sity of Music in War­saw. Dur­ing the 2012 elec­tions she was elected Prorec­tor for For­eign and Stu­dents’ Affairs for the term of office of 2012–2016.

 

Robert MorawskiPolish chamber music performer (piano). He performs in Poland and abroad with outstanding artists like: Aleksandra Kurzak, Sławomir Tomasik, Alina Mleczko, Janusz Wawrowski and Ewa Iżykowska. He is a laureate of many prestigious prizes. From year 2011 he holds a class of piano chamber music at Frederic Chopin University of Music.

The English "mixing school" has always been focused on the vibe and the ideas of the music rather than working with patterns and cliches.

The masterclass will teach you this Mixing Approach explaining both, ideology and Technical aspect, along the entire process.

Enrico Pinna has been a professional guitarist, producer and engineer for more than two decades, with vast amount of recording and mastering studio experience throughout  europe.
Graduated in audio/video post production, successfully completing the final exams overseen by the european social found in milan in 2004, Enrico has been credited in numerous albums, including “The Gathering Light” from globally acclaimed rock progressive band “Karnataka” as best foreign album 2010 at the Web Prog Awards.
A versatile engineer, he has a wealth of experience working in all music genres, from pop to rock, dance to rap, hip pop and r&b, jazz to classical.
Credits and collaborations include some of the most respected names in the music industry e.g. Mike Stern, Paolo Conte, Karnataka, Johnny Mars, Jim Mullen, Dado Moroni, Enzo Zirilli, Abbey Road, Air Studios , Real World studios and The Way Studio in London and many others

Ha iniziato gli studi musicali presso il Conservatorio di Granada, sotto la direzione di Mercedes Garrido e poi con Carmelo Martinez. Nel 1989 ottiene il titolo di insegnante di chitarra, con un premio speciale della laurea e nel 1997 il titolo di Senior Lecturer. Contemporaneamente si laurea in informatica presso l'Università di Granada. Ha suonato in formazione con maestri come Leo Brouwer, José Tomás, Hopkinson Smith, Marco Socías, Carles Trepat, Eliot Fisk, David Russell e Joaquin Clerch. E 'stato selezionato per partecipare a programmi internazionali finanziati dall'Agenzia Europea in Italia, Finlandia e Ungheria e anche all'ordine del giorno Intercampus Spagna e America Latina nella Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas a Tampico, Messico. Ha partecipato come solista e membro dei gruppi del VII Festival Internazionale di Musica "Villa de Canena" (Jaén), Festival di musica antica XV de Aracena (Huelva), XIII Settimana Internazionale Organo Granada, X Festival Internazionale "Musica in Zubia (Granada), in FEX di 56, 57 e 59 edizione del Festival Internazionale di Musica e Danza di Granada e nella XIV edizione del Festival de Música Antigua de Úbeda e Baeza. Si è specializzato in musica antica, per il periodo rinascimentale e barocco, ed è stato membro dell'Orchestra Barocca di Granada, il gruppo Sursum Corda, il Sesquialtera o Zarambeques gruppo duo. Ha insegnato nei conservatori di Huelma, Bailen e Guadix. In quest'ultimo come direttore per l'anno accademico 2001 /2002. Attualmente è docente di chitarra presso il Conservatorio di Musica di Granada.
